Jimbo was my brother. He always had the nicest, shiniest truck on the road. I was coming home from Dallas one weekend and my transmission wentout. I had to pull over behind a big rig, a father & son had a blowout. This was before cell phones. I went to a farmhouse & called Memaw& she said Jimbo had left &was probably at truckstop in Mt.Pleasant. He wa so I waited behind this truck. It was an old truck, no shine or lights. When Jimbo drove up, I said that is my brother in law; they were in total awe. They said that is the prettiest truck they had ever seen. It at night and Jimbo's truck shined with chrome and lights everywhere. Prettiest truck on the road.

I was lucky enough to get to work with Jimmy the past several years. He was always able to bring a smile to my face. I will miss the way his laugh bellowed out, and his smile that brightened my day so many times. Prayers for his family, wife, kids, and grandchildren. He will be missed by so many!

Jimbo was such a loving friend and neighbor. Always there to help. Jamey and Jimbo were our neighbors in Hallsville and it was snowing like crazy. We had planned to cook steaks out on the grill and woke up to a cold and snowy day. It didn't stop Jimbo. We all bundled up like Eskimos and grilled steaks. Best steak ever. Jimbo, you will be missed but always in mine and Butchs memories.
